Also how many hours do you average per year? My goal is to get to 1500 and move on, trying to decide about staying a CFI or moving on?

Thanks in advance.

I’m also trying to see how competitive 500 TT and some multi time would look to Contour. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Most have been getting hired in the 700-900 range. Some have turbine experience some do not.

The company is growing and has solid leadership.

FO pay is straight salary. Pay scales published are accurate.

Great company to get in jets and learn Scheduled ops. It’s a 121 flying under 135/380 so the air transport category experience is worth its weight in gold for those a ways from 1500.

They seem a bit flexible on the time but probably depends on the type of time you have.

All things considered, would jet pt 135 PIC time or 121 SIC time look more appealing to majors?

Think about the shortest route which will get you the quality TPIC time.

Default Holy god don’t go to contour

As someone who thankfully escaped this awful company, don’t go here. 36k a year in the right seat, 11 on 4 off. No union, 20k training agreement. The planes were broken a lot and you will get used and abused.

I would like to clarify the numbers mentioned above. If we are speaking about the ERJ SIC position, the base annual compensation is 36k. Added to that is of course add pay (100%-150% day rate) and per diem ($2.08) that yields total first year comp in the 41-43 range. As to days off per month, by in large it is 12, some months have seen 11. This month many of the SICs are at 13 days off; that does not include months with vacation. I n the past, we had a different operation/fleet with a 11/4 schedule.

Per Diem is not salary, nor should it be considered as such.
