hey, I am not saying there are not exceptions, or that one couldn’t be really good with a checklist. But getting out there one your own for a while definitely helps build a pilot. I am not advocating just flying around the patch for 1500 hours, I only instructed until I had the hours to do something else. But there is a lot to be gained with building time in other areas. Low time in fast metal doesn’t seem to be the best way to gain that experience.

I can't DM you because I don't have the required number of posts, so I'll just ask here.

I'm currently working as an instructor with over 500TT but only 25 of multi. Are they firm firm on the 50 hours of multi, or is there some wiggle room in there? Thanks a bunch!

Any idea of how competitive I am with them. 664hrs total time 115 Multi? I applied, but haven’t heard anything.

I would guess competative considering how short i hear they are. But in my experience they have always been a little finicky with calling back.

Will they tell you your home base when hired, and can they change it?
Anyone here a recent hire?
Thank you

If you have the time/ratings to be a Captain, I'm willing to bet that they wouldn't care. If you're an FO candidate with 500 hours, you might have to have something to set you apart.

I will say though that you need to pay attention to the recent turnover of personnel. There has recently been a mass exedous from the pilot group, as well as management. Many of these people have been with the company for years/decades. Try to talk to some people who have recently left. Something is going on.

Angry Yes they are terrible

Yes, they will lie to you and be careful about even asking about it. If you leave, they will come after you and lie about what they told you in the first place.

Ex Express jet management team and so really bad characters. When there is an exodus it’s because it gets to a point where people can’t take it anymore.

The owner is a real piece of work. While he cut salaries and jobs, he was partying like it was 1999 in the Bahamas.
