Are the 1900's operated single pilot?

How many hours can you expect your 1st year?
FO EMB-120

Ballpark estimate 400 to 800 depending on your assigned run and your willingness to move around.

Everything that AMF operates, sans the E120, is operated single pilot.

Hi, there!

We do have an 18/12 schedule if you are home-based.
But if you live near one of our bases (non home based), it's more like 5/2.

I haven't heard of a 2/2 and hope that none of our recruiters are advertising that.

Let me know if you have any questions! We'd love to have you apply! :)

Best regards!

But you don't have 18/12 or anything home based for FO positions? I still need some time before I hit 135 IFR mins. I live in the ATL area and I understand you don't have any bases near here.

What about home basing for the VFR only positions?

No. Since the FO positions (other than the E120) are there to get low time pilots to IFR 135 mins, we want you flying full time to get there ASAP to get you ready to be a captain.

Again, while the VFR positions are captain, they are also to get you to IFR mins as soon as possible. In addition, there are only two bases where VFR captains are really useful; PHX and ABQ.

Finally, if you don't have 135 IFR mins yet, once you get there, you would likely go to a BE99 or PA31 and currently home basing is only for type rated aircraft.

Can you confirm what is specifically meant by Home Based? Would someone who departs PHX in the morning to an outstation like KSAD and then return at night be considered home based?

No home base would mean you don't necessarily live in a base they originate from. For example I live in Jacksonville fl if I want to home base I wouldn't move and they would fly me to my assignment and then back home usually out 14 home 14

Got it. Now it makes sense. Enjoy the class. I'm scheduled for next month.
