Look at the bright side...they would have gladly accepted you in January. But due to current events and put yourself in their shoes. Would you hire someone who was laid off from a cushy jet job knowing they would leave ASAP without notice?

I haven’t been furloughed. I would actually like to do the job at Ameriflight. Seems I’m plenty qualified according to their published mins.

Lots of applications in at the moment! Not sure what you applied for, but there currently aren't any BE99, BE1900, or EMB120 openings. Which just leaves the mighty Metro. Not sure if you applied for that or if those open locations would suit you.

Just scroll down to LAN and click. It'll drop down and show you each one.
There are two Metro routes out of LAN atm.

Hope that helps!
Hi there!

Out of curiosity, how come there isn't a Seattle option there?

Thanks in advance!

The Seattle operations moved to Spokane last fall due to UPS restructuring their operations.

One more question for LAN....

I read earlier in the thread that FO’s are used on the metro up there due to weather. Is this for every flight as a requirement for the base? Or just when needed for guys to get their time?

Are the FO’s up there on the Metro mostly on the ACP program? Or foreign gals/guys getting their 1,000 hrs?

Just when needed for First Officers to get the time needed to upgrade - not a requirement for each flight out of that base.
Yes, the ACP program. We don't currently have any foreign pilots. We used to have an FO program through Eagle Jet, but not anymore.

All - How are things going at AMF as Corona-cession settles into full swing? Is the UPS and FedEx feeder stuff still going strong? Or is there any cut back in frequency, downsizing of aircraft, etc?

Those are a little to close to proprietary business issues for me to say anything about. I'll say we had 20 people show up for indoc last week and so far we have 10 planned for next month with many more to be added in the next several weeks. We are also transitioning 4-6 folks per month into bigger planes and we just brought our latest E120 onto property last week.

Fair enough. Sounds positive all the same. Glad to hear.
