Have three in our April new hire class. Likely won't have any start for the next few months as we are pretty full on First Officers.
500 TT > 1,200 TT for First Officers.
> 1,200 TT for Captains.

Hope that helps!

Will you guys take street captains straight into the EMB-120?

Yes, for sure! Here are those flight mins for reference: 3,000 TT, 500 ME, 500 XC (defined as point to point), 100 night, 1,000 PIC, 200 instrument, 500 Turbine, 121 or 135 experience

We don't have any EMB120 Captain positions open at the moment, but when we do we can hire street Captains, no problem.

Default New Training Contract

30,000$ and 18 months. That will be tough to sign. Ameriflight seems like an ok company, and will always survive the ups and downs, but that contract is a bit high.

I am afraid this will start to be a trend again. Next, we will go back to having to pay to work just like in the early 90s. The line was around the block then and probably will be again. If one of the big 4 shut down, that alone is 15,000 pilots. Add to that the massive furloughs that may be coming and man O man.

Let’s home things get better before they get worse.

Highly doubt people will be paying for these jobs. But, I’m sure the number of applications and competitive minimums will go through the roof the longer this drags on. Between CPZ and TSA there are a lot of qualified pilots on the street.

What contract are you talking about? I searched the thread and the last time other than your mention of a contract was 2009. So, what are you talking about?

It's new - starting for the new hires in the May class.
$20,000 - $30,000 and 18 - 24 months, depending on aircraft and position.
Reduced after 12 months.
