I think the next class is October 26th and training took me 10 weeks because of the backlog they had last winter. Spent a lot of time doing nothing at the hotel.

Weather last year or training problems? They have a sim? You recommend anything for commuters? I will be applying here soon.

The weather shutdown training for a couple weeks last winter. They do have a sim, and you get to use it quite a bit during training.

Are you FO, PIC, or Captain?

I would be applying for the FO position.

A friend of mine was recently hired. He sent in his application. An HR representative called him, asked a few questions (like a mini interview) and then set up a face to face interview at BOS. No sim ride at interview. Mainly HR type questions with a few technical ones thrown in. There were about 10 other candidates there on the same interview date.

Send in your application and let us know what happens.

When I came here last winter, HR called me to offer me the interview. Then sent me an email to confirm the date. I flew up to BOS and stayed at the Embassy Suites. Cape Air reimbursed me $200 for the trip. The interview was in one of the conference rooms at the Embassy Suites. There were 7 of us interviewing that day. Most got hired, but quit during training. They called me a week after the interview and offered me a class date. Paperwork... and here I am...

I don't want to be a debbie downer, but the FO life is not the best...

You'll find it easier to commute from the hubs. (BIL, BOS, STL)
