It actually helps if one reads their own posts. It is in fact NOT a turboprop but a new piston twin. Cannot see CA buying a new piston twin. The C406 would be good though.

I know someone looking. If so, PM me and I will pass the word.

Going to skype interview for them. Any past experiences? Everything I find is only available if I pay. Thanks!

Can't help you, but did you have the interview? If so, how did it go?

@Vil0654 - Anything back from your interview yet? When you met them was there any talk of potential class dates if selected?

On a side note - Does anyone know when the heavy flying shifts from the Carib back to the Northeast?

May/June I believe is when they start bringing aircraft back up from the Caribbean; Ramping up for the summer New England flying.

Thanks DOKK! Anyone out there have an upcoming class or know what the latest is for training plans?

Also, does every flight have an SIC assigned or are there certain markets that are not staffed on purpose?

Thanks everyone.

I went through training over the summer but it's a week of death-by-powerpoint for ground school and then the next 2 months is a mix of sim and training flights, LOFT, and then IOE. There are about 16 sim/flight lessons. They are backed up and training is drawn out. Sometimes you will sit 3-7 days doing nothing.

Every flight has an SIC as long as there is one based there. SICs can get bumped for weight reasons but it is nice that CA lowered the authorized seats from 9 to 8. That was huge. Usually a good captain will take care of you and do everything in his power to get you on when close to max gross.
