Thanks for the quick reply! I was hoping I did not miss the call while I was on vacation. It sounds like the are trying to get all the captain spots filled first then interviewing for the FO spots. Good luck with the interview!

Farthest west we go is the STL region, and we have bases at UIN, MWA, CGI, IRK, TBN, and OWB. Unless you could way out west in GUM... ;-)

Yeah that is a little too west. Didn't you guys get an EAS contrtact from the state of Oregon a few years ago?

Nope, I've never heard anything about that. Maybe we were thinking about it, but it hasn't happened since I've been here.

They talked about Oregon for a while but it never materialized I believe because of the other bids for the city pairs. About a year ago I was told the reason we haven't moved west is due more to the lack of airplanes than to lack of motivation.

I understand the 402's are equipped with Garmin 430's but what type of autopilots do they have. Just curious. Thanks.

Ha! Terrible ones for the most part. We have a mix of Cessna 400 Nav-O-Matics, King something-or-others, and for the few lucky ones, some S-Tec 55 and 55X's... But most of us hand fly when it matters; these autopilots are like terrible instrument students, and we treat them as such...

Does Cape Air conduct single-pilot operations on their EAS flights or is there a PIC & SIC in the C-402?
