These should get you started.

I found L3s career website a little confusing too.

Good Luck

Wet ink on your ME Comm temp certificate will do. Other experience helps off set shockingly little ME time; like SE fighter, Military RW, U-28, or Osprey time. However, purely in terms of meeting the requirements, the rating will do.

How do the schedules work at these companies? Month on/off? 2 on/2 off?

L3 Harris is 60 on 60 off with travel and conus training NOT counting against time off; training usually interferes with consecutive days off however.

What's the current take on OCONUS ISR able to get on with a 121 major (LCC included) later on in the career? The guys/gals I know that are trying to skip the regionals are mostly former rotary, so no mil fixed-wing. With that being said, The only examples I've seen went 121 cargo after a couple of years contracting.

So it sounds like it's really your mil FW that got you to Delta, not ISR. Mind sharing your stats? Thanks, JT

I think it is too early to tell if contracting will get a rotary only guy to the LEGACY airlines. The rotor to airline movement is still in its infancy. I know of rotor guys who are starting to get hired by the likes of Frontier and jetblue after some time spent flying 121 regional. I personally do not know of anyone that has gone from ISR to the big airlines without lots of fixed wing time or military fixed wing time. With that being said, I think contracting is a great way to build up time and money. It also opens up some opportunities not readily available to the average pilot group.
