Many of the schedules are not conducive to commuting. The exceptions are MSP and PDX, which I think are easily commutable. There are some folks commuting to DEN now but I think they sometimes spend several days twiddling their thumbs at a crash pad.
Speaking of crash pads, the company has now made 4 beds in one of the Denver crew houses available to commuters for a nominal fee. First come, first served.

I still wouldn't commute to PDX if I weren't at least in the western US, though. Then again, I absolutely hate commuting anyway.

Hours?
I decided to apply this afternoon around 4:30 CDT, within 2 hours I received notice to select my hours of availability for an interview, and about 20 minutes after that I received notice my first interview will be this coming Monday!! I am so beyond excited! I know if selected I'd be in the hiring pool for a while, but I'm crazy pumped to even have that opportunity!
Thanks

From friends that are there and other sources, I repeatedly hear that BTQ is a great op. I recommend to anybody to apply early and often - you never know when that class date will come! Worth the wait- but let the wait happen while you're being productive in the air

Absolutely. Both soon and often are key here. I should have around 1000h in January, so hopefully they'll see me as a quick upgrade or something, who knows go figure. My buddy is super happy too with the operation
