Where do the 2 P180s fly? DFW based? Do they fill in for broken airplanes? Always loved hearing the Catfish and it’s engines from miles away - a very cool airplane IMO!

 

how easy is it to get a base assignment at PDX? I am thinking about applying for possible FO spot.

They made their choice. most people are not felons. you would have to be incredibly stupid to not keep your nose clean after spending a MINIMUM of 40k to get your commercial and 2 years of your life getting your tickets. also there is almost always a way even with a criminal record. you think life is hard now? go back to the middle ages. you want to take a day off from exercising because your too tired? sorry you just died. you dont know what tired is. even navy seals dont know or understand the struggle it was to survive during daily life 200 years ago. 99 percent of human existence has literallly been will i have enough food to eat am i going to die today. a good example of not wanting to make the sacrifices is i have a buddy no its not me lets call him bill his name isnt bill. bill has 60 hours of flight time he doesnt have the 10 grand it costs lying around to get his private. bill has racked up 60 hours over the course of 6 months. bill hasnt flown in 2 months. he still has not soloed yet. bill has a family wife and 2 kids bill has a full time job. bill wont sacrifice his job or his wife or his kids to take 10 grand and spend 2 weeks straight getting his private. in other words bill is never going to get there at this rate. because he wont make SACRIFICES.


TLDR:do the work. there is almost always a way. no excuses. also this is not an english class my message is fairly clear even if there are grammatical errors.

Would it be a joke to put in an app with boutique for FO position as a 320hr pilot with all cfi ratings/ASES. I read before they hired at commercial minimums but now says 500hrs so yea.

 

The joke would be on you. This company is garbage and if you read even half a page back you’d realize that this is a huge mistake. A job at McDonald’s pays better and has better benefits, wish I was kidding.
