Think it was spilled out in the BTQ forum
How does one apply for a new job with such a short stint at a regional? Hard to come up with an explanation that would make sense... Worked at BTQ for some time but my hours never counted..? Ugh?

FAA said that those that took a checkride would be okay. Something about those hours being validated by the examiner at the checkride. The ones that were in training at a regional (prior to checkride) got sent home.

Just another reason to be very skeptical of right seat positions in single pilot certified aircraft.

FAA currently has a committee looking at all 135s operating single pilot aircraft with SIC. They have found multiple companies Southern, Cape Air, and BTQ for short with PDP issues. They will not rule on the flight time officially because the FAA wants the SICs for safety. They have a working group reworking the regs so 135 sics can more easily log SIC time. All parties involve want the SICs flying.

So does this mean that BTQ has fixed their SIC problem?

Hi does anyone know if Boutique is currently hiring? They never take down their hiring link on their website. What are competitive F.O. mins?

Please note this is not meant to sound like the typical *****ing you see here on Angry Pilot'sCentral. Having flown as a PIC for BTW, please, take my advice, or that of multitudes of other posters in this thread. DO NOT WORK FOR BOUTIQUE AIR. Your career, airman certificate, and physical well being will always be at risk. There are so many other choices out there. Ragged, poorly maintained aircraft, inept management that has no respect for employees (starting at the top with SS), and a toxic work environment.

A video was posted online of a YouTuber, a paying passenger flying right seat of the PC-12 because the FO was left behind for weight and balance purposes? How is this even possible…

This video was posted showing a YouTuber flying right seat on a recent revenue flight because the FO was left behind for weight and balance. I feel like this would never happen anywhere else?
