I can't answer the question on where you can move onto, but we have a couple King Air's now. Also I believe two more PC-12's came on line today.

To be completely honest, most guys that i personally saw leaving went to :

King Air Medevac
Skywest
Compass
Corporate Pilatus Gigs
Mokulele
Mesa

We dont have any majors sucess stories yet, but its still a young company, maybe in the future.

Tons of options in today's aviation industry. Several guys heading to the regionals now. I've heard of people heading out west to Surf Air.

I get this question a lot. If your end goal is to go to a major airline, Boutique isn't your best bet to "skip" the regionals. Maybe that'll change in the future but who knows. Boutique definitely is an awesome way to get your foot in the door and open up several new opportunities down the road, though.

Default It's Complicated....

I live in Atlanta and am making the rotary to fixed-wing transition. CFII-Helo with over 1800TT, 1200XC, 700 night, 200 IFR, all-turbine time, ect.

Does anyone know how much FW time I'll need to get on with Boutique as an FO once I've gotten the SEL Commercial Instrument?

Thanks
Keith

I would still assume about 400-500ish. I could be completely wrong though.

Seems like the ideal gig for me.

I was told the other day that the new system they have set up to select applicants means that they go off of the oldest application first. Therefore you can stop reapplying if you haven't heard anything.

As for ATL goes, might be little to no movement until some new routes open up. I don't think any of those FOs are heading anywhere anytime soon.

Hope that's not the case as my newest application has more then 150 hrs from the original!

I currently fly cargo in the 208's. Love the flying but not crazy about the schedule. Can anybody tell me what the schedule is like at Boutique Air?

Depends on the base, which are you considering? Each base has different shifts also:

Could be a day trip, out and back being home at the end of the day. Or an overnight, 3-6 legs and duty off out of base. Duty on in the morning and end up back in base the next day. Or a continuous duty overnight, where you start later in the day and fly a few legs, get a handful of hours sleep at a crew house or hotel on duty. Then return to base the next morning.
