PSA - Ask A Recruiter

We have been told that they are still scheduled to be transferred. Currently they are coming at a rate of 1 aircraft /month. There has been some confusion recently on this subject due in part to our CPs telling recent recurrent classes conflicting information. They have told a couple recurrent classes that after December 2017 the company is going to "re-evaluate" the remaining transfers. And they have also told a couple of recent recurrent classes that after summer flying ends we will be adequately staffed to continue the transfers going into 2018. My take on this is that the CPs probably don't really know what's going on as it pertains to that subject and that there is a lot of disorganization within our management team right now. We have had a couple of recent shake ups with some people retiring/quitting and some new people filling their spots. Which is leading perhaps to some of the confusing information. The fact is that AA isn't going to want to leave a relatively small number of CRJs at Envoy. It doesn't make much sense financially to do that when you have a WO regional airline already operating 100+ of that airframe.
All of that being said, PSA is going to need to figure out how to stem attrition. We are consistently hiring 40-50 new hires every month and upgrading 20-25 /month. On paper that sounds like more than enough to continue staffing additional airframes, however when you combine our attrition outside of the flow it makes the prospects of growing to be a 150+ airplane airline difficult to imagine. But, if at any point the train starts to run off the tracks I would expect AA to step in and fix it as they have consistently done in the past. They need their WOs to succeed.

Coupled with the changes in management here it's a recipe for misinformation.
I think AA will step in and fix whatever they need to in order to keep the operation going.

The reality of it is that knowing the overall fleet plan or even keeping up to date on it is not a part of the CP's job. They are more or less focused on the day-to-day minutia. The overwhelming amount of small crap that has to get done to keep the airline operating. Following up on sick calls, fatigue calls, and no-shows. Talking to pilots about PEDs and FMLA. Answering hundreds of daily emails. Getting in touch with CAs who push late on the first flight of the day to find out what happened. Going to recurrent classes and talking with the pilots for an hour or so. Coordinating different things with the ramp and gate managers and corresponding with our other management departments. And a ton of other stuff. Like I said, staying informed on the nuances of the fleet plan is not really their primary concern.

I have an interview scheduled and all of my logs are kept via logbook pro. I just located the originals that were located in my attic and it came to my attention that the mice found and made a home with them... Luckily, I transposed all of my logs over as said 5 years ago. Would this be an issue if I just bring the e logs that I have been keeping, obviously printed and in a professional binder?

I had three military log books with the first one being heavily chewed up by my dog. I had more bed all the log books to log ten and included my civilian time. Printed out and bound up nicely. I had the originals with me in a plastic bag, but they just looked at my printed out one.
