“Years of reserve” as a captain would have imply still having forced upgrades mid 2021 ... roughly three years in a row. That is unprecedented in airline history. Could happen, maybe. Probably not.

Some also said forced upgrades were over months ago, but here we are, still forcing almost 10 the last few bids. Such a fluid and unpredictable situation.

And we're now, what, 19 months into the senior manning process? (Of course barring the occasional bid on which it wasn't utilized)

Yep I was one of them. Still 19 months of unprecedented weirdness doesn’t mean unprecedented weirdness goes on forever.
