All you need is 51% if you are in favor. Good luck if you think you can convince everyone. This TA will pass with flying colors. And it is a nice step upward when other regionals are bending over for their management without a choice.

Not you really...... I hope your comment on holiday pay was more so thinking the company would just make it equal..... I think you see the benefits of this deal.....

Pagey was complaining in the PDT thread about the job progression..... That alone irritates me because PDT negotiated it... We were given it..... Plus it's better then anything else we've had in my time since it's included this time in our CBA and not a random letter on the company site.....

Seafeye and his USairways making record profit comment when last I checked we work for PSA not USairways....... I realize there's still room for improvement..... However was Rome built overnight? It takes time and we still have a young contract compared to those who've done this 6-10 times...... This is what our fourth contract? You can't expect an AE non concessionary contract when they've been through many more contracts then us......

It was a simple observation. "They gave us min day instead of holiday pay" would have been enough of an answer. That's all I will say on this public forum. I'll PM you the rest.

What can I expect to see in terms of a raise?
Bottom line is what is my W2 going to look like?
4 years of per diem being $1.40 saved the company money.
Like giving up crew meals.
And SDO pay for Hi Speeds. (That 12 hrs of pay was nice)
And we gave them 900 rates in a pinch to use against Mesa.

All in all it seems that the company after making record profits isn't giving us much. One important item for me was Holiday Pay. I didn't see it in there. F/A's, mechanics, dispatch, schedulers.... all get holiday pay. Why not pilots?

Who's making record profits? PSa or PDT.

Working at PSA means we are working for US Airways. Every customer we fly are US Airways customers. I contribute to the profits of US Airways.
You can scream all you want about us not getting it all. But look, we really didn't get much. $.11 raise? Sure the day pay is nice, I looked back and saw that there were only 2 days this year where i would have benefited from it. In the past 5 years i have paid almost $10,000 in union dues. How long will that take to make back?
For 4 years of negotiating i was hoping for more. If this gets voted in we will have a 5 year contract and 4 more years to negotiate a new one. 9-10 years we will have to live with this. I'm sure Keith H. wants this one to go through, he is getting a deal.

As Brade stated, the 3.5 hr min day would have only kicked twice all year for him. The sdo that we are giving up for that is worth thousands of dollars per year to some pilots. (captain America etc.) Its not worth it.

There are improvements im sure, and I havent even been to a roadshow yet so who knows. However everyone gets a vote and people will vote based on Whats good for them. However if you are 15+ year guy, living in base, and fly two highspeeds per year sdo (each one worth a grand) the old book might actually be better than this contract.

I'm sorry you feel that way..... But the day you lose your medical, or bust a regulation, or heaven forbid get in an incident your dues dollars will be pennies compared to the money you'd lose had union benefits not been behind you.

You think this is crap you surely would hate not having a contract and KH doing whatever he wants to your schedule etc.....

Your $10,000 over five years is chump change when you need help I can guarantee that....... Also I'm a five year guy and its not much but it's over a buck raise for the right seat and QOL gains that money cant touch..... But I'm a family guy who likes being home with my wife and kids....
