Maybe it's you who isn't welcome at mainline

 

I don't know about this quote, has anyone at bluestreak been denied anything by any other pilot group? They don't seem any more dejected than the next regional guy? The only place I can see any have issues would be trying to get a ride w/eagle?

Have you even started class yet and you are already playing PSA defense? Man you've got a heck of a "up hill battle" now!

 

I'm not playing any defense, I was noting the fact it would appear he's not liked at his mainline. I defend no one but myself, thanks though

 

The 3 or 4 people on here make it seem like it's an issue. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem. In fact, eagle guys riding around in our seats have been nothing more than nice and actually understating our situation and agreeing with us :O

Same at mainline, they consider us their own from my friends I have there and times I've been in the Jumpseat. They've bent over backwards for me especially while going international. Great group of people. I have never felt an ounce of anger anywhere. We're just another regional. What those pukes don't understand who come on here and dump on us is.... Noooooooooooobody cares. Literally. Not even at the regional level aside from your few cohorts. We're all the same. It's the regionals get over yourselves. It's amazing amount of care given by other people: 0. So many other regional guys don't even know we had a vote. It's APC girl gossip.

I was just about to ask the same thing. Was there any substantiated threat to downsize or eliminate PSA, or was it simply fear mongering?

The fact that you guys say the -200s are sticking around is proof you got fleeced. Parker never had any intention of parking those airframes; he just wanted to see what he could get for free from some stupid pilots.

I'd say you gave him far more than he expected. Having looked at your 70/90 seat rates, he's saving money placing them with PSA. Win-win for him: concessions and low rates for the new large RJs.

you sound incredibly selfish, you know you are profiting on the backs/at the expense of others and sounds happy about it. I hope karma makes you a lifer at PSA so you learn the lesson everyone is trying to teach you the hard way.

You're not going to have any 4 yr. FO's? So you're a fortune teller now? That's what everyone thought in '06-07. Yes, if things continue the way they are now, you're right. But if anything changes( like changing the 65 rule, another 9/11, the economy tanks again, we get in another war....etc.) you will see the same stagnation. And then I hope you guys learn your mistake of selling everyone else out the hard way

 

It sounds selfish .... Cause it is. It's aviation. You aren't going to pay my mortgage or college for my kids. People need to have a job, #1. #2, People here were willing to gamble the above (economic downturn, another 9/11, etc) in order to gain the fruits of this deal which we'll see soon this summer as long as life stays normal. People here that voted for this knew it was more than just "30 airplanes". A lot of life decisions were involved. XJT will vote their TA in, as will others. Scare tactics work. And pilots are pu$$ies. It's a handful of guys on APC that have the amazing balls needed to ..... Anonymously vote no and say hold the line with nothing to back that up. Awesome.

 

Not sure what you mean by "economic downturn" but the economy will collapse by 2016.
