American will announce within the next 30 days who is taking over LGA and JFK for Envoy in the Northeast, my bet is PSA or PDT.

Never mind. I just checked the school website where I got my type rating from. Says part 61 type rating. The excitement is now over. Back to full 1500 ha...

I believe that TSA is slated to move into the 145 flying out of NYC.

PSA is taking over the flying of 47 Envoy CRJ700 aircraft in the near future. My guess is that is what is driving the opening of a new domicile. You have to look at where those airplanes are at now in my opinion as those airplanes will likely remain there, just a different company flying them.

ORD is the likely choice.

Republic will probably shift their AA ORD flying to other hubs to leave room for PSA to have a presence in ORD for American similar to their CLT operations.

Why does PSA need a "presence" in ORD? To capture market share? Branding?

PSA doesn't "need" anything. We just go where our overlords at AAG send us. Same as every other FFD carrier.
