I think that has been addressed several pages ago, and in its own thread.
It isn't just PSA, but the way PRIA paperwork is handled when one airline employee leaves and goes to another airline. Expect it to pop up as an issue everywhere as it is being reviewed. It is really not as dramatic as you are making it sound. Most everyone is flying again.
One of the biggest issues is names of airlines. If you worked for one airline that changed it's name or merged, a separate pria request must be mailed even though it was the same job - and your old company must send your exact same records twice.

I wasn't trying to make it sound big. That's just exactly what I heard and wanted to get the facts from you guys. You know my goal is to join u all fine pilots at PSA. Just gotta meet the minimums. But thanks for clarifying it. !

1. Gouges for PSA are now useless as of first week of March.
2. 2 week wait to find out if you got hired.
From my understanding, if you pass the written and don't scare the interview panel with something you said, the job is yours.

2 big changes though, whether related or not:
1. Gouges for PSA are now useless as of first week of March.
2. 2 week wait to find out if you got hired.

what is the reason for the written change? If they need people this bad why are they being tricky all the sudden. Are people washing out of training? I understand if you completely bombed the test not getting an offer but this sending people home because they missed one too many seems like a huge waste of time.

Asfar as people washing out during training, it is pretty uncommon. There are usually 1 or 2 per class, and they truly deserve it.

I don't think that the new test is "tricky". It is just different ATP written questions, from what I understand. It is stuff that you should know by this point in your career.

People failing has been covered time and time again in this thread. The failure rate is pretty low, and anyone that try hard and has the ability will pass. Those that slack off, or simply do not have the ability to do the job will fail. The failure rate is pretty low. The overall rate of people making it to the line is ~82%. The 18% dropout rate includes people quitting for many reasons other than failing out.
