5 CFIs interviewed today, no previous 121/135. All in their 20s, low 30s.
The written was #2. 75% new questions. They even modified an MDA for one of the approach plates so you would calculate the PDP from scratch.
I was one of the first ones to get called in to the panel, was offered a class date. Awesome experience overall. That SAP they got is amazing.
They're opening two more bases by end of year they said.
They also said we are going straight into the 700/900 and getting the 200 for differences.

Was the written test hard, and would you say that the questions were the questions fair?

The current leading rumor is still Chicago.
With the additional 700's from Envoy and Envoy closing the NY base, the other obvious choice would be NY. I think more bases will certainly increase recruiting efforts. CLT is an easy commute from many places, but having more bases will make hiring people that want to commute easier.

My e-mail went down as well. I tried calling IT but no luck yet. I think it might be an internal issue with the server.

I received basic limitations info about the 700/900 to start training on the 16th. Very happy and nervous at the same time.

From what i understand the new classes are going to be alternating 7/900 one class, next class 200. New class will have Ipad's.
