So the from the moment you start IOE until you get your relocation days, you should get 24/7 per diem?

The reason is because PSA is short on check airman and once you complete your type, the pilot has 120 days to get 100 hours. So thats why they are postponing it.
On a good note, we do get a huge paid vacation, and there is talk about planning on our class going back to dayton for a mandatory "re-train/brush up." It just kinda sucks cause we won't be able to upgrade for a while!
Don't quote me on any of this, this is just a rumor. But it came from a check airman. (which I believe there are only 45 right now?)

I was in the Feb. 16th class. Just got back home on thursday. Rumor is, our class kinda got screwed over for training (kinda) 3.5 weeks until oral, after oral, 60 days until SIM training, after SIM, 2 months until IOE start.

I took my check ride before you started class, and will not go to IOE for a few more weeks.

The 900 TA that was signed had the "flow" in seniority order. They made working at a regional a job, not a career. Scott Kirby was very specific in that he didn't want the regionals to become a final resting place.
So we are seeing with the new pay rates, a 2nd year f/o at mainline is greater than the top of the line captain at PSA.
They don't want senior Captains. Yet they need DE's and LCA and sim instructors. This is the C pay scale that mainline wanted so badly. Just no one is sticking around to take it. Every single f/o and captain that I speak to has apps out. What does that say when Jet blue or Spirit/ delta/fedex/ups...calls?
Don't complain about not flying. When you get on line you will have plenty of time away from home. For now let's hope the situation gets worse so they are forced to give people seniority numbers to keep the senior pilots from leaving.

The blended rate increases will never stop. The 89 aircraft thing refers to the raise we get for every "large RJ" that is added to PSA's operating certificate. The blended rate is separate and is a ratio of 200 vs 7/9. It will continue to increase for each 7/9 we get.

This is not correct.
