Include a cover letter. You are trying to get a job. Act interested. You only apply through PSA's website.

From Sec 3, A.2. (page 3-5)..."For every CRJ-705/900/EMB-175/MJ-90/SSJ-100/AN-158 aircraft added to the fleet in excess of 49 total aircraft, the rates of pay for that aircraft will be increased by 0.03% prior to calculating the blended pay rate. Upon reaching a fleet of eighty-nine (89) aircraft, no further increases will be made to that aircraft rate."

The way I read this is no more quarterly adjustments are made to basic pay rates based upon delivery of airplane #90. Those deliveries up to #89 require the quarterly pay adjustments.

If you notice, the wording is "no further increases will be made to that aircraft rate". That is the amount of pay per aircraft. The blended rate still changes as the fleet composition changes.

Yea I had it wrong too, up to 89 aircraft we get pay raises on the 900 rates and after that the blended rate keeps changing. We will be getting quarterly pay raises until all 150 aircraft are here.

It is kind of funny that people on the interwebz keep "threatening" PSA pilots by saying that the 200's are going to leave. Sure, there would be a few less captain slots, but pay would go up with the fleet type change. And if they did leave, we would probably get more 700's and 900's.

As has been explained to me, the leases on the 200s were signed when fuel prices were high, thus the lessor had to set the rates pretty low. First lease expires in 2018, and there are more and more 200s in fresh paint out there.

That said, apparently it's pretty expensive to make them ADS-B compliant which is required by 2020.

When it's all said and done, we really won't know how those 200s will effect seniority until we know more about the upcoming "flow" negoiations and get a better idea what attrition is like going forward.

It's human nature to want what you can't have then hate on it as a result. People who have not achieved the Esteem level in Maslow's hierarchy tend to want you to share in their misery.

I'm glad we could have a couple pages worth of discussion on such a simple topic just to decide that my original post was correct.

It goes to show what the quality of information is on a site like this.

Tread carefully.

The annual raises every April will continue for the life of the contract until the amendable date in 2022. A .03% raise for every new 900 on property is very miniscule. The annual raises and changing fleet ratio is a lot more significant.
