Na. Not this guy. I just think that it is not fair when incorrect information is being posted. Other airlines are saying that they pay more, but in the end, those rates are really misleading. I would want to know the "facts" are actually correct for any airline. If others pay more, change them on here too. It isn't fair to present false information to people that are trying to compare airlines.
If I were in management, I would be embarrassed at how ridiculously long it takes to get a new pilot from indoc to flying the line. 4+ months?!?! Ridiculous! The training department needs to do something to speed up, or just skip a class and get caught up.
There are stories about people going to IOE and not being up to speed with callouts and flows and getting sent back to sims/IPT's. Sure, those pilots should have probably spent more time keeping things fresh, but the training department is just as much at fault.

I just think you have a little bit too much inside info on specifics that the average PSA pilot wouldn't really have or even bother bringing up out of the blue and it's just the way you put things out there that makes me feel like you are in the recruitment dept - I never said management.
But I guess we'll never know
Don't get me wrong though, I think you're very informative and politically correct with all the helpful info you provide to these forums about PSA.

Anybody know what the latest iPad rumer is? Maybe the guys going through training now might have a better idea based on what the company is telling everyone. I've been hearing jepposen will stop supporting paper charts at some point in the near future.

Does anyone have a link to an announcement by Jeppesen stating when they are stopping the printing service? I have heard the same thing, and I believe it, but not sure if they have actually announced it. It seems that as long as they are making money on it, they will keep printing (until they make more money on digital versions).

Anyone care to share what an average "bring home" check looks like for a month. I had it written down somewhere, but now I can't find it! I remember the first check was around $700ish but forget on the last check. Going over a budget with the boss of the house to see what/if we are going to have to sacrifice. I will more than likely take the cheaper of the benefits plans. Thanks again
