There are still people from the October classes that are doing IOE.

The December 22nd class just finished differences ground and differences sim this week. If they haven't all finished differences sim then they are close. That's puts many of them at the 1 week after sim check ride before starting differences.

January 5th class finished sim last week and this week (3/16-3/28). They (not sure how many) are starting differences ground Tuesday the 31st.

If you don't get your 100 hours of IOE in 120 days you will be sent back to CVG for a pc. You'll get one warm up session and then the pc, then back to the line to complete consolidation.
PSA has been talking about extending the wait time between events until the IOE backlog has been eliminated. Instead of having people wait 2+ months between differences and IOE, spread out the time by a week or two between each of the other events.

They may be telling people to expect that amount of time off because they are starting to do that.

That's what I was saying is that they are apparently going to hold off on differences sim until guys start IOE and use it as a warmup and perhaps a PC before guys go to IOE. Apparently they've had some getting to IOE and didn't know their flows or Callouts very well and the check airman recommended they be sent back to DAY to go through some IPTs again. They are trying to mitigate that.

That makes sense to a point. After IPT's and sims, you have a decent working knowledge of flows, callouts, and procedures. Flying the line for a few months is what really solidifies this knowledge. If you have to wait 2-3 months after your sims to start flying, you will forget a lot of information. Even if you sit in front of your poster for a little bit each day, you will not be fresh when IOE finally begins.

Talking with a friend today who is also interested in applying. Does the 25hrs of multi need to be PIC, or just 25hrs in actual plane, PIC or dual etc..?

25 Total Time in a real aircraft, not a sim.

Thanks! He's got the time then. He doesn't have it as PIC, but does counting dual.

Did you guys include a cover letter with your online app, or just fill out the app and attach a resume?

The app is your resume. No cover letter unless you apply directly from their site. You can bring that with you along with your updated resume to the actual interview. When is yours?

Ok, just saw on their site where you could upload a resume and cover letter. didn't know if I needed to do that or not. So I just skip that part of the online app? Also, is there another avenue to apply through online versus PSA's website? Thats the only place I knew about. Thanks
