Now, premium is almost gone and we probably won't rank that high. If you look at our total cost we might be high right now. We are running close to 14 pilots per plane due growth and training backlogs. Individual pilots take home pay is not what it was or what is could be though.
We need our premium pay back. 125% for SDO pay is a joke. The old contractual system of SDO (although not as good as critical pay) would be great to have right now.

There were some good data points that were made by the E&FA chair. However, the more important thing that I took away from the video is that she makes $356,749.00 total compensation. Our dues money and she makes ~12.75 times more than an FO..

I'm not sure what her salary has to do with it. If she is worth that, then good for her.

Again, leverage. If they want to staff an airline, they'll have to figure it out.

Yea that's a great video, especially the first 25mins. Every regional pilot should watch it. It almost gives an indication of which regional's are in trouble moving forward into the next year or two. The 3 legacy airlines are already scoped out and they all basically need to shed 50 seat aircraft to comply with their respective scope clauses. So no matter what, the regional industry will be shrunk organically (and painfully) even without a pilot shortage.

This week, the PSA MEC Negotiating Committee successfully reached a tentative agreement (TA) with PSA on the revised SSP program.
The company attempted to get contract relief on several issues in exchange for increasing the number of PSA pilots who flow to American. During our September 14–16 meeting, your Negotiating Committee was able to make improvements to the current SSP agreement and to clarify and define the IOE/OE process without making any concessions to the current agreement. As per the PSA MEC policy manual, your elected representatives will meet in CLT on Tuesday, September 22, to review the tentative agreement and determine whether to send it out for pilot ratification.
If the MEC approves the tentative agreement, it will be made available to the PSA pilots for membership ratification and you will receive full details and language prior to voting.
