That's the beauty of a free market system. No union required either. When things start turning south, and they will, they'll have to make changes.

We can only hope when they see the light it's not too late. Some day they'll start planning more than 48 hours in advance.

Just so I'm sure, what exactly is sub-par? Please consider the post about the Mesa road show where only 2 regionals have a higher pilot cost than PSA.

So we make more than all but 2 and (at the time of the vote) had the best, by far, schedule flexibility and QoL.

This is of course moot now that management is now intentionally and admittedly violating said contract, making this place unbearable to work at. But please do educate me on the "sub-par" aspects, as I'm sure you are very versed on a contract at a carrier you do not work at.

Below Average contractual areas:

-50% deadhead pay
-125% SDO pay
-3.5 Min with trip start and ends times requires
-reserve grid with constantly changing buffers that prevent drops/trades
-zero transparency with reserve grid
-extremely outdated and lacking scheduling software
-airplane must push at least 10ft to get pay clock started
-11 min days of for line holders
-no trip/duty rigs
-rising health care costs
-no input/assistance from union for pairing construction

Only thing I see here truly below "average" is the deadhead. You can't mention something that one or two other companies have and call that average. The SDO is supposed to be offset by CCP, which the company is disregarding. Some of the things you mentioned have nothing to do with the contract and everything to do with management cheating us.

Face it PSA is well below average. Doesn't matter how you put it. You're just desperate drop in a bucket that nobody cares about

Too bad you have no say in whether we get it or not. And that request only applies to the 200 which we have the least of due to the fact that we are actually growing (for now). I wish I could lie about my out and in time like you guys so I could pad my income too.
