Seems like it's going to folks who hit there 1000 hours at this point.

It would probably be more like 13 or 14 months if FOs weren't getting displaced all the time. There are a few guys from my class hovering right around 8/900 hours that get displaced off half their trips each month.

So they have to wait 3 extra months to upgrade?

It's not hard to swap out of lca trips. Reserve grid is green and easy to swap.

Swaps are easy. Giving up 10+ hours of pay for the crap on open time isn't. Hopefully nothing good pops up after you're locked into LCR 6 days out.

I'm sure you didn't shed a tear when FOs got displaced for your IOE.

Its just people that complain about everything, if it wasn't this it would be something else. Maybe we can stop hiring and upgrading for 4 years and see how they like stagnation over a few displacements.

I hear there is a guy in the next upgrade that got his 1000 hours in only 12 months of line flying, pretty impressive.

Exactly, mostly from new hires that this is their first 121 job, been here 4 months and think they should be at mainline.
