Couldnt we look back on history and say that some of the most successful people were "entitled"?
There needs to be more "entitlement" at the regionals, especially PSA. Entitled people believe in "self worth". They believe that their day and time is worth money. The sacrifices that they have made this far is valuable. Entitled people would not accept sub-par contracts. Entitled people would not accept less than what they are worth.
The "old guard" PSA, and most of the other regionals, have no self worth. They have been beaten time and time again like a stray dog. They view getting beaten by a smaller stick as a treat.
Without "entitled" people, he regionals will exist forever. The only way that this will ever change is for the old guys to retire or to step up to the plate and realize that they have worth as well.
In short, if you are saying that someone else is "entitled", then you are a part of the problem and the root cause of the low pay and poor treatment at the regionals.

Everyone knew the pay and working conditions before they applied then to come here and complain? Grow up. Sub par contract? I don't think so. Don't you work in the training department?

You my friend are full of it. This place is light years ahead of where it was 10 years ago or even five years ago.

The non-entitled are what allowed the regionals to be born. Those that do not feel that what they do is valuable. The next generation will have to be the ones that put an end to the regionals and all of the "b scale" jobs. Same job, same pay.
The entitled change the world for and will make it a better place. I will be long retired before this happens, but will enjoy watching it from my rocking chair. I only have a few years left in the industry, but am ashamed at how the senior people are insulting those that are making the airlines a better place.

Jan '05 hires at the moment. However in Jan '16 the flow will reset back to #1 on the list and give anyone who bypassed previously another shot at flowing. There have been a few who have discussed interest in going over now that they don't actually have to prepare for an interview or update a logbook.

Yes and no really. There will be a website were pilots can add their name or remove it from the flow list. And they just go down the list in seniority order. So if the number one guy doesn't add his name, but decides he wants to 8 months later, then the month he adds his name he will be the first to go. So it essentially is starting at the top. Make sense?

I'll do some rough math, correct me if I'm wrong. Figure an average of 6/month for 2016, then 8/month from then on. So...
End of 2016: seniority number 140
End of 2017: seniority number 240
End of 2018: seniority number 340
End of 2019: seniority number 440
So, my question now is what are the DOH's of those numbers?
