Hopefully you don't live in CLT because you are in the danger zone of being displaced to DAY on this bid. I have heard anywhere from 15-25 CLT CAs will be displaced due to CLT slightly shrinking and most CVG CAs will be coming from DAY.

For some quick math, the bid is for 297 CLT Captains. In November, there were 180 round one lines and 54 round 2. That's a total of 224 lines. Now obviously some of those 297 are instructors etc.. but 73? Almost sounds like growth in Charlotte.

This. On the November Final Award for CLT CA's (Oct. 24th) there were 295 CLT CA's. 297 would actually mean an increase of 2 CLT CA's. The shrink is taking place in TYS and DAY, especially TYS.

There were 169 round one lines in October, 182 in November and 189 for December. I doubt CLT will shrink.

In all fairness I do think people in the know from the union did say CLT may shrink so there is that. But nobody seems to know why we even have a TYS base, there is no maintenance there.

This is the regionals, so anything is possible. But to say our Association members are "in the know" is a bit of a stretch. This unfortunately isn't my first rodeo and our PSA ALPA hasn't impressed me in anyway shape or form....

They have a couple mx guys in TYS. Hopefully no displacements for anyone whenever they decide to put the award out.

There will be displacements. Why else would the union send out the displacement portion of the contract in our weekly fast read. People will need to fill up DAY as a majority will move over into cvg.
