Well I am not on the side that wants to send the big one up the FOs rear, because they didn't get anything. Spend as much as you want on min day, I guess we'd all be better with a 4 hour min day at 24 bucks an hour, but hey our day has value. Probally will never make 20,000 dollars off min day the rest of my time at a regional, but at least that's a respectable improvement and not an insult.

In other words, my union reps don't care what I think. They're just going to tell me what I'm getting. Why tell the pilot group what topics are being discussed/negotiated and encourage their input PRIOR to the negotiations.
Hell, they just had a call-in conference. Was any of this discussed and feedback solicited from the pilot group, as a whole? Maybe we should expect to learn more about our future pay from facebook.
Let's be clear here. The Envoy "hiring and retention bonus" program will NOT benefit any pilots currently employed at Envoy. Nor will it benefit any pilots currently employed at PSA, if adopted. This program is solely and entirely aimed at pilots who are currently employed at OTHER 121 CARRIERS!!!!! NOT CURRENT PSA OR ENVOY FIRST OFFICERS (or Captains)!!!
Here's the language, directly from Envoy's ad: (with my emphasis added)
"Envoy will now offer up to $10,000 for **NEW HIRE** pilots who have Part 121 commercial air carrier experience. In return for a two-year commitment to Envoy,...."

They knew what the pay was when they (myself included) came to PSA. I deal in real estate, and I've both bought and sold successful businesses. I know a thing or two about contracts and negotiations. The fact that the company released that email before the union had a chance to come to the pilot group with something concrete (like a finalized deal) is indicative of subversive politics in and of itself. They are trying to be divisive and get away with attracting new hires as cheap as they possibly can. They know that a lot of FOs will vote for the bonuses with or without the CAs being included. And they know that by releasing that email, timed with the announcement by Envoy, will leave a lot of pilots at PSA salivating for that money (as evidenced by some of the replies here). Don't play into their hand. We have a union because they represent a UNIFIED pilot group. Not just the FOs or just the CAs. I support a bonus. But I support a bonus for all.

Sorry, my sources tell me the MEC gave a flat "no" to the exact same offer that Envoy had already accepted. The company put out that email last night because it was already on the Internet and we constantly accuse them of not communicating. You being one of the loudest

2nd unison would be 1 payscale, equal work equal pay. All captains have 1 rate all FOs have 1 rate.
3rd unison would be every flowing everyone on the same timeline. If you flow in 2 years and I flow in 12, is that unison? Is flowing in 2 years more valuable than 12, I think so.
Is it based on hours, first guy to 6,000 hours flows and so on?
This is just pilots eating there young plain and simple. Ironically from the same crowd that gripes about scope sales and b scales.
