We don't even fly to MCO. Why would that be a base?
Maybe use that idea as a recruiting tool because there are a lot of pilots in Florida. But I'd say logically there is a zero chance of that happening.

I wouldn't bet on a FL base at all.

New base needs to be Chicago. Or somewhere PSA can tap into the central and western pilot pools of the country. Lots of commuters coming from that area too. 2017 seems like a long way off. It would be nice if they would make some sort of announcement soon but that wouldn't be very PSA-like. Always behind the curve it seems.

Sure we might sucker a couple pilots from out west with ORD. I'm sure most of those pilots are already looking at Skywest and GoJet for $37 an our. If you're going to commute you might as well get paid 50% more.

I know, who am I to question our great leaders? If they think a Midwest base will bring manna from heaven, then it will. Just like flow, the cadet program, our industry trailing signing bonus, etc. All brilliant fool proof plans.

Just like everything at PSA, even if they announced it tomorrow, it would be too late.

Needed an ORD base to open in January. It's honestly too late now.

Needed increased pay and bigger hiring bonuses Q4 2015. It's too late now (but not for those already on property).

Needed to keep hiring pilots despite a training bubble. It's too late now.

PSA management is constantly behind the curve. And now we all suffer for it.

An MCO base would be perfect for me. Sadly, we all know that will never happen.

Does anyone think they'll propose any major changes at the "Crew News" session in CLT on the 17th? Crossing my fingers for anything that fills classes like they were able to last year.
