During the initial rollout, the company is providing the uniforms at no cost to the employee. All employees will receive the full allotment
contained in their respective collective bargaining agreements. "

Also, it says all employees WILL be in the new uniform starting september 2016. if they want us all to comply, they better be free, otherwise I'd be using my full year allotted to me in the CBA....

Also, when you go to order online, it states you must select a certain amount of the allotment to order. Excuse me? if I'm paying, I'll order what I want.

Sounds like someone ( The CP office in general), isn't getting the correct information, and the company is trying to steal from its employees, again.

I never received an email on uniforms, did anyone else? When I picked up a revision recently, the CLT ops cord. said an email was sent out regarding new uniforms, I never received one?

Maybe the company is being upfront with the flight attendants because their new uniforms are free and they're being shady with the pilots because they are secretly not free?

During new hire classes and town hall meetings, pilots asked company president about the cost of new uniforms and he dodged the question every single time and apparently sounded ****ed off that he had to answer the question.

Also, does anyone know if hats will be required?

If you log in to the twin hill website, it says our uniforms are free. I have a screen shot of it.

I'm aware of that, could it be directed towards the 15,000 American mainline pilots and not the 1,200 PSA pilots?

The uniform vendor claims their free and management apparently says otherwise.

this is probably the case. PSA has been giving pilots 400 a year to pay for this, then big daddy AA decides he is giving the initial allotment to everyone for free ( as it should be by the way )

No emails or anything to pilots. Talked to an interim base coordinator last week, and she was amazed the pilots had received nothing, since the FA's have been given all this info on everything.

I don't believe Hats are required, but it is in the initial allotment.

Take everything they give you my friend, its your only chance to get it free.

The fact there is an initial allotment document for PSA makes me think AA is giving them to everyone for free. If I'm having to pay for my uniform, why am i dictated by the company what I can and can't order?

I thought it says in our contract that if we get new uniforms it comes out of our uniform balance?

it does, but, AA ( PSA's parent company) has said they are giving all employees new uniforms free of charge.

The one time they don't follow the contract that works in our favor.

absolutely

Will the leather jackets that we currently wear be apart of the new uniform? Or will we be required to purchase a new top/outer coat? Are hats mandatory?
