This is a direct violation of the contract.....I doubt it.
3. The cost of procuring changed uniform items will be borne by the pilot and will be deducted from a pilot's uniform account balance to the extent he has sufficient credit.
4. The Company will normally allow at least one (1) year for pilots to comply with uniform changes. If the Company requires a uniform change to be completed in less than one (1) year and a pilot's uniform account balance is insufficient to purchase the changed uniform items, a pilot will be allowed to overdraw his uniform account in the amount necessary to purchase the required items.

It's considerably longer than 2-3 months more like 7-8. It will be longer if some captain vacancies don't open.

FWIW
On the new uniform ordering website, it states that AA will be providing the initial allotment of Uniforms free of charge.
"Will I have to pay for my uniform during my appointment?
During the initial rollout, the company is providing the uniforms at no cost to the employee. All employees will receive the full allotment
contained in their respective collective bargaining agreements. "
Also, it says all employees WILL be in the new uniform starting september 2016. if they want us all to comply, they better be free, otherwise I'd be using my full year allotted to me in the CBA....
Also, when you go to order online, it states you must select a certain amount of the allotment to order. Excuse me? if I'm paying, I'll order what I want.
Sounds like someone ( The CP office in general), isn't getting the correct information, and the company is trying to steal from its employees, again.

That's what I suspected... Like I said, the CP office isn't the most informed place, and the company ( PSA Airlines Inc.) is trying to steal whatever money they can from us.
