There isn't any more old school written guys anymore. The only guys that don't have to do the CTP are current 121 FOs with just commerical licenses, I think. I could be wrong on that.

When I am wrong, I accept it, my apologies "Paid", but accepting comments from other people like those of "baba" & comment about it, put you at the same level of backward thinking, and I have no tolerance towards it. The only thing I wish to people like that is, a thousand blessings and prosperity.

All 121 pilots have been required to hold an ATP for several years now. If you hold a Commercial Certificate or only a single engine ATP, you have to do the CTP and take the ATP Multiengine written.

As it would've been several thousand dollars, and it was still a $25/hour gig back then, he went back to corporate.
