This is basically exactly what was said. No QOL increase until we have to.

Get your apps out. This place will become a flaming dumpster fire long before it is ever "fixed".

Don't be a Richard head. It's a legitimate question and concern for all WOs. We're all struggling to fill classes because of pay and QOL. Ideally it'd be nice to see them shift 7/900s and 175s to mainline, but we know that won't happen. So the next best thing to hope for is better pay and QOL at the WOs. And it looks like they don't care to address that. So, that leaves outsourcing flying to more FFD airlines. Like mesa, who is still somehow actually filling classes.

Who out there, other than Mesa, is cheaper than PSA to operate right now? Mesa can't take 100 airplanes overnight, and if they publicly put out there that PSA is shrinking then rats leaving a sinking ship will be impressed with how fast pilots bail from here. The simple matter is that all the other regionals out there cost about the same if not more than PSA/Envoy/Piedmont, and there's absolutely no way AAG can dump several hundred planes on one cheap carrier. I'm not terribly concerned about what DP said. Either our wages are going to go up, the wholly owned airlines will collapse, or in the not-to-distant future mainline will start picking up 76 seat jets at a B pay scale between current regional/mainline pay to ensure stability on the small market aircraft.

I don't think they will dump all the planes at one place but envoy can keep the 700s they are over staffed. Mesa can take some 900 since they are still filling classes. PSA will be left with what we have because we can staff what we have. There will just be no movement at all here.

Parker also said that AA is losing their 190 fleet. That means they will need less pilots for the time being so I would guess less flows as well.

Doesn't mean less flows as 50% are flows and the rest are street

He has to be bluffing about putting the flying elsewhere. Almost everyone is struggling to fill classes . It's going to have to be an improvement in contract. They just spent a ton of money getting the training snake up and running at psa also. Only to furlough everyone?

That's the last resort. They obviously want to keep it in the system as it's cheaper.

Spirit is hiring, (2000TT and 1000 multi). Allegiant is hiring, ("preferred" 3000TT). JetBlue just flushed their resume' bank and they're asking for "updated" resume's from candidates who are still interested. And, of course, all of the other big boys are spending time and money to set up booths at the job fairs, which should tell you something!

There's never been a better time to jump ship at PSA! Vote with your feet.
