The chief pilots and union both agreed this is legal for the company to do it. So for someone on probation what do you expect them to do?

Here is your response to my post asking if you had applied for the open CP positions. You claim you applied and didn't get a call back:

AA late with matching 1st year? yes, can't argue that but they will come around and become competitive.
Since you have such strong opinions about management, did you apply for either of the Chief Pilot positions that are open?

My career is going just fine. I've volunteered but since I'm not the "right type of guy" I didn't get a call back. Not interested in helping bail out this company. I'll get my time, with my military background and move along. AA has invested a lot but a little bit of paint and some new signs and PSA goes away but AA gets to keep THEIR investment. They invested a lot in Envoy too but that didn't stop them from giving away the aircraft. Since you're such a cheerleader and think this management is amazing, did you apply? They're always looking for new yes men.

Biggz, Mitchrapp

Why don't you guys just ask the PSA union, screen name 272922. He's a regular on this forum and is accustomed to addressing these kinds of issues right here openly, but you have to ask him. He is on record here saying the union will back you for a variety of issues.

Then I stand corrected. But still very little growth.

Are you suggesting to turn over all contract negotiations to ALPA national? Let them be in charge of negotiating your pay rates, reserve and everything else?

How could it be any worse? You've got 26 year old amateurs doing it now. The pilot's job is to tell the negotiators what they want. The negotiators pursue that. The pilots decide to accept or reject what the negotiators came up with. If it's rejected, the negotiators are usually replaced unless its very close. Why not begin the entire process with a group that is more experienced. There is no point in making the same mistakes that ASA/Expressjet made just very recently ie negotiating more years then the length of the contract itself (and then in the end trashing the entire process and settling for an extension only).

Mistakes weren't made. ASA MEC had/has no desire to see a merger with XJT. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt of not possibly knowing that unless you're part of the company. It was quite the work-around when one side has no motivation to budge. Yes, XJT voted on and passed an extension with small gains, but without any concessions. PSA should take notes and learn a little. Maybe next vote you won't take less money to fly bigger planes.

Just the same, its best that adults handle the real work.

I shouldn't bother but since you're an idiot. You volunteer for the union and apply for the CP position. I obviously stated I offered to volunteer as earlier in your attempts to "call me out" you referenced the union and the CP position. Please place your head back in your anus, grow up, gain a little life experience and then maybe we can have an adult conversation. In the mean time, GFY. And your mom says clean your room.
