Why don't you guys just ask the PSA union, screen name 272922. He's a regular on this forum and is accustomed to addressing these kinds of issues right here openly, but you have to ask him. He is on record here saying the union will back you for a variety of issues.

There's a new forum that you'd have a better chance on, but even then realize that it's not a 100% secure, but it's orders of magnitude better than this place.

Yes I do. They can certainly file their grievance, but I see no good reason to not openly discuss the topic here with the union. It's good for all involved, including those who are considering a job with PSA.

How could it be any worse? You've got 26 year old amateurs doing it now. The pilot's job is to tell the negotiators what they want. The negotiators pursue that. The pilots decide to accept or reject what the negotiators came up with. If it's rejected, the negotiators are usually replaced unless its very close. Why not begin the entire process with a group that is more experienced. There is no point in making the same mistakes that ASA/Expressjet made just very recently ie negotiating more years then the length of the contract itself (and then in the end trashing the entire process and settling for an extension only).
When, if ever, you get to a major, do you really want ALPA National negotiating your contract for you? Please think this through.
Your 26 year old amateurs do have the assistance of ALPA National training and advisers at the table with them.

That's what he is suggesting. Even the ALPA forum isn't secure as a few pilots at FedEx found out a few years ago.

Which is why I did not say that the forum is secure. But since every thread here rapidly devolves into a regional poo flinging contest I don't think that this is the best place.
