Delta interview

Delta interview doesnt mean Delta job, sadly...

3 part test and an HR portion. I know many people that have gone to these interviews and Delta and United and failed the tests. Great pilots, great people... sadly I feel a place with no interview flow like Piedmont, PSA, Envoy would be better. It's quite the back up plan if you happen to have an off day and fail the interview.

Some of us don't want to work for Delta. I like AA/US culture and bases. United would be cool too. Delta is bottom of my list. Not to mention, Delta seems to be steering more towards being a domestic carrier with less diversification in their fleet and flying looking forward compared to AA and especially United.

Parker has already said that there would be no increase in flow.

You may not like what Parker says, but when Parker says it,.......... Parker means it.

Yeah! Five percent of pre-tax profit to be split among all AAG employees, (excluding bonus-level employees).

Has there been a change in that?

I think his point was in reference to what DP says is final. DP stated in the past he'd never profit share but is now. Well if the checks actually get cut.

Delta is the way AA and United should be.

Also united is buying a lot of 737-700 for domestic flying (don't remember the amount, but it is in the 70-100 planes ballpark).

AA is behind about 10yrs of Delta and United. Delta is ahead of the game right now and AA is trying to play catch.

I agree in the sense that American seems to be in no hurry to bring the 76-100 seat feed back to mainline. I do think that is going to have to change over the next few years and it will be interesting to see what their solution is. All that being said; I think Delta's lack of wide body flying will make it less attractive going forward.
