DCA

Hi Guys, I know it must be in here somewhere, but, could you tell me if DCA can be held out of training? Thanks.

Been a while since I was in Indoc but seems like we were told that tax was only during training. If it's being withheld after I'd be asking someone! Double check your stub, maybe your seeing just the initial tax with year to date total?

If you want DCA, DAY or CVG out of training it isn't a problem. Lots of people are getting CLT as well while in training. TYS seems to be the base with fewest openings.

Pretty sure you can get the base of your choice before end of IOE.
If you want a line as soon as possible I'd bid CVG, DAY. Not sure about DCA but don't think it would be long.

Currently, DCA has the shortest reserve times for FOs. (There are no FO reserves in DCA. Everyone has a line).

There was no bonus when I was hired. As I recall just training in Dayton. But with the bonus I can easily see a local government sticking their fingers into it!

Unless you are still DAY based, you should not have any taxes from OH taken out of your paycheck. Once you finish training it should stop.

And as far as DCA not having any reserve, that will change.
