Why is there a discussion on another airline possibly taking concessions when our own ship is veering off course? What's ironic is that last sentence describes us right now. Pilots will never cease to amaze me. Market forces always have two very different directions and apply to everyone. I hope our new John Wayne MEC knows what they're doing.

Two thoughts:

1) Is this the same Doug Parker who only about a week ago publically agreed with his mainline pilots that labor relations have become toxic and that the management must become more accommodating? And

2) I find it interesting that, in the past PSA management has floated an email or other communications touting (or "spinning") the wonderful and exciting news that was announced at these town hall meetings. This time??? NOT A WORD!! No pdf from Dion, no happy-shiny email from Hoke, no cheerleading from Scrobola, not even a tersely-worded comment from Kernan! NOTHING! It's like the entire event didn't happen. I find that very odd and out of character.

It's the same Doug that will tell you PSA/PDT/ENY are part of AAG, not AA mainline. In other words, different airlines, different treatment.

Air Wisconsin MEC has already firmly stated it's position. They will not take concessions and will stand firm, even with the shutdown threat.

It seems to me that mainline is getting the same "treatment". Ask anyone thats actually been there for ten years or more.

Yea, mainline has been getting crapped on too. Only difference is the paycheck.

Is PSA hiring keeping up with attrition? I was under the impression that was not the case.

You're showing how little you know about regional airlines. Air Wisconsin had a TA that would have improved qol. We said no. If you think that anyone at AWAC cares about the place shutting down, think again. You realize there are other options out there besides "starting" over at another regional. Guys at AWAC could give two rips if they threatened us with shutting down.

You don't care if they shut down your company but you do care enough to troll an internet thread about another company?
