If you purchase the Headsets Inc. Kit and install it, it probably will work fine. I installed the kit in two of my headsets. It is a cost effective way to go ANR on FO pay and the noise cancelling is every bit as good as a factory setup. I use a DC 13.4 with the kit and one 9-volt will last me an entire month of flying here.

Additional training of some kind. I have a feeling Mesaba is going to be doing additional Indoc, CRM. Since these individuals will be coming on board to the left seat without the benefit of ANY line experience here at Mesaba, I am thinking the company is taking an extra week to bridge that gap.
