I've been waiting for months to register to be able to post here.
The intial package i received read like this "Business dress is required for the first day of training. The dress code for the remainder is business casual" see you guys on the 14th....

The business dress for the first day is for your company ID. You WILL stick out like a sore thumb if you do manage to forget! That info is included in the packet along with the 'oh so great' turbine transition packet. Have fun!

Correct they dont hand out POH/PIM's until the first day becuase they would then be liable to send you every revision to keep it current.

Default Budget

Guys I'm trying to be able to put together a budget of what I can afford after paychecks...So far I figure this...but still have some questions...

75 hours month = 1800
Taxes = 200
Uniforms per month = 25
Union Dues = ?
Insurance per month = 120
Crashpad = ?

If you guys have any idea if these numbers a re different or can tell me what goes in place of the question marks I'de appreciate it...

You don't pay union dues on probation (your first year). Afterwards it will be 2% of your income.

Taxes are more like $300-400.

I would budget around 200-300 for a crash pad.

Good luck.

Did you file a 0 or 1 on your W4? That makes alot of difference
