It's interesting that just a day after making the announcement, the memo on the company website is gone and instead there is some "feel-good" article about what it's like to repaint a Saab into new Delta colors. How ironic.

The saab could be used on so many routes everywhere, its a shame they are going to park 10, or are they... Delta has been known to change their minds.

Who knows why DAL does anything these days. Who knows if they will change their minds or maybe park even more. The union is sending out e-mails that they are working with the management for half time pay lines and TOWOP for July.

TOWOP is already out for July, as for half time lines, there is continual resistance from the company over keeping benefits while on htl.

The memo is still there, it's just under the picture on the home page.

Out of curiosity would you loose all benefits during a half time line (heath insurance etc.) or are we just talking about travel benefits? Is it for the entire month or just for the 1/2 of a month you aren't working?

Management wants to cancel medical and flight benefits while the person is taking advantage of the 1/2 time lines.

Yeah I thought that was dumb. The last thing I want to do is read about how Delta is repainting the Saabs. It's a weird dynamic.

Just so you guys have something to throw back at them, the ExpressJet pilots that are doing the 40 hour lines have full medical and flight benefits. They also keep full vacation accrual. The only thing we agreed to reduce was the sick time accrual, which would accrue at half the rate I believe, which makes a little since. Don't give up anything for those 1/2 hour lines.

So what if a pilot on HTL is a commuter? Does cxling flight benefits mean jumpseating also?
