I have heard rumor that there will be no upgrades in all of 2008....anyone heard this? I don't know if i'll make it to 2009....aaahh!!
AND all the CPs business cards just say "Comair" on them.... no more "Delta Connection" ..... so we are sold? and if we are sold....how would that shrink us? wouldn't that mean we can grow from deals with other majors?

why would they remove the delta connection if they were sold? comair would still be flying for delta connection. you can chalk this one up to misinformation and the basis for starting really crummy rumors.

Well this is what I heard from someone who knows someone whos cousin is a friend of one of the Chief Pilot who knows a CEOs Son.. Comair is Sold to South West and now we are free to move about the country

I've decided not to listen to the bull**** rumors anymore and keep wondering what is going to happen. Also, I'm starting to get pretty fed up with this place, especially scheduling and planning. You figure with seniority your schedule will get better, but my schedule has been getting worse every month. People junior to me have better schedules!? I also love sitting ready reserve late at night when there are no Captains available. Here is an idea! Upgrade more people!

Everybody needs to stop worrying about the upgrade it will come down. About 70% of the captains I fly with have been hired by somebody else or are trying to get out. I've flown with a few that are in the Southwest pool and a few going foreign and waiting for a class.
Things aren't that bad either. I've been here almost a year and I'm on reserve. I had 13 days off this month since I didn't get used on christmas or christmas eve and I'm getting 90+ hours of credit without picking up open time. It is what you make it.
