Too all furloughed guys. I feel for you guys, I really do. However I have been noticing that your support amongst the pilot is diminishing. It's not that your fellow pilot don't want you to come back, because they do. The problem is that the situation continues to get worse and now they(the pilot group) really needs to pay attention to keeping things together for those on property now. It sucks, but I think it's become reality. When it comes to open time you will still see guys try to pick it up. In the beginning it was beneficial to not pick it up so the company might see some staffing problems. But now the situation is getting to the point were each guy is fending for themselves. The current pilot group is now finding itself in a situation where they have to fight for the guys that are left on property. If they keep fighting to bring back furloughed guys lot's of stuff is going to be overlooked and more jobs will likely be lost as management finds a week spot.
Again, I don't agree with this, but this is what I have been noticing. Good luck to you guys!

Trust me, I have bills to pay too and would want nothing more than an extra $200 from some extra flying, but a line must be drawn and we must stand firm. We are a stronger group if we act as one and set aside a few personal goals.
People complain about the weakness of the ALPA leadership. Well I worry about the integrity of its membership.

Hey RiddleEagle18...I tried to alleviate your situation by taking one of the alleged choice CVG tools off your hands for a few days. Everywhere I go, all's I get is, "OMG, you're flying with THAT guy!?" It's actually kind of fun and entertaining toying with him throughout the trip. Guess he gets a lot of sick calls when people find out they're paired with him. I 'love' getting coached throughout the LGA LIE 31 visual wearing 4 bars in the right seat :/
as much as it sucks working for Comair....at least its a flying job that pays the bills. We all know comair isnt the greatest airline in the world to work for but right now, its 200 times better than unemployment. There isnt d!ck out there right now as far as flying jobs are concerned and I would more than grateful if Comair called me back. I realize that some of you guys are stil workin for them and are frustrated at the situation your in up in JFK, but believe me, be grateful you have a job at least. All Im sayin is think about all the guys that dont have a job right now that are struggling to stay afloat before you go saying that its better to be on the street than flying for Comair.
ps.....I have been looking for jobs outside of flying but where I live in MI the unemployment rate is 13+ percent and anything is tough to come buy.
