Comair updates?
Huh? Wholly owned DCI employees will fly on a higher priority than Pinnacle and the other contractors etc... So you'll use your seniority amongst Compass, Mesaba and other Comair folks. What really sucks is not getting priority on your own planes.
No. Wholly owned are now equal to contractors. Mesaba and Compass were bad examples because now we're equals. And if you're furloughed you are below them.. the ONLY person below me is a buddypass.

Here is a delightful article discussing all the "love" of Fuhrer Anderson...
How Northwest 'Took Over' Delta

Ah... I was thinking of the scenario that on our own flights we will fight for seats at S3 with mainline but the contractors will board after us.
Ok - seniority rules then on mainline when we're all S3Cs... that's fair.
We don't even know how BAD it might be. Everything is pure speculation at the moment, since the policy isn't even place yet. I just don't think it's going to be as awful as you and everyone else at Comair thinks it will be. Which is probably why nobody is jumping on the band wagon to fight DL over it. I think the Pinnacle folks have way more to cry about.
We'll see what happens. I hope I'm right and that we can all look at this pass policy "catastrophe" as being unnecessary hype.

But I don't see how it can be better when I get stranded in ATL already. Drop my priority down under 15k people and then add in all the northwest employees and fams, just a guess, 30k passriders.
I see NO upside for me.

Of course, I'm on furlough so I have no dog in the fight other than the fact I am now barely one step above a buddy pass, but I guess I should be thankful to have any benefits at all.
Again... the NWA Airlinkers already ride behind retirees and mainline. It's not that big of a deal. What DOES suck however, is now falling behind mainline parents.
We also have to keep in mind that there is more than 1 flight a day. Not everyone lives in ATL (despite what most at DL think) and the world does not revolve around ATL (despite what most at DL think.) Just because there are now 40K more people using the benefits doesn't mean all 40K of us will be vying for the same flights. With those 40K people come more seats as well. Not to mention the fact that the 40K of us from NWA/NWA Airlink that are joining you Delta/DCI folks aren't going to be apart of some mass exodus from the territory we bring to the network. Yes... really... we're not all moving to ATL.
