Ya, why not? Just cracked a cold one and waiting on th 8:30 call tonight.
(and I can't wait to spend free time doing Jepp. revisions)

FWIW "Flyandive", it's been awhile, looked it up (61.51(g)(3), 61.57(d), 91.109(b)...if after 12 months passes the pilot can only get current by, "examiner", "authorized instructor", or a "designated pilotxaminer".
..so, I guess I need to stop drinking when reading reg's!
Cheers!!

The question is, part 91, if you hadn't touched an airplane in over 2 years (some of us will be close) you'd have to go up with a D.E. to do an IPC/BFR (in the FAR's ... 61.56)

At Comair, you'll be doing that in the sim.
That is incorrect!!!

Let's hope we can bring back all the recalls and Delta will let Comair folks be happy for a while, not just for a few months.

It would be wise to try and keep that job on the back burner. Here is a thought. Right now Atlantic Southeast does not have the resources to handle all of the flying delta needs covered through the summer. Call all pilots back to work at Comair to help handle the demand. This gives Atlantic Southeast time to put in place the personal needed to take over after the summer is done. Once you start seeing Skywest and/or Atlantic Southeast start to hire, be very worried about what I have been trying to warn you about. When you see more airplanes go to Atlantic Southeast and/or Skywest be concerned. When you get back to work at Comair keep your sights on what is going on in your company. They have Done you Wrong in the past and will do it again.
