I agree that it NEEDS to be positive, but I am still not getting my hopes up.

I don't expect anything newsworthy at this meeting.

On a completely (or maybe not) unrelated note, just had a message left on my phone from Anita in scheduling. I'm reserve on a hard day off, mind you. She called and said "I have a trip that I need help covering if you could call us back that'd be appreciated." Now me, being the optomist that I am, I am seeing that as a request for EF, since the big bad JM words weren't used. I'm always game for EF, unfortunately I'm in the process of purchasing a new place in NKY and had to work with the builder on some stuff today. Anyone see this call in the other respect?

You're a reserve on a hard day off... No such thing as JM.

Refer to contract 12.B.5:

"A reserve pilot will be scheduled for at least one set of 3 and one set of 4 immovable days off in a bid period. A reserve pilot will not be junior manned on these days off..."

About a third of the reserve guys I've flown with don't know about that one.

Maybe it's about Manbearpig. And how we must all stop him.

Yeah I've been stalking these boards for awhile trying to keep out of trouble.

I really don't expect anything too exciting. From epic it says...
"Comair President John Selvaggio will host a company-wide net conference on Tuesday, March 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. John will provide a brief Comair update before beginning a question and answer session."

Remember when they were going to announce us getting the CRJ90s and Bornhorst said it was the most exciting news in comair's history. This is just a brief update.

A new hire class just came into ops for their tour. I wonder how much money Comair wastes having a class of 3 people.
