Anyways not important its either gonna happen or its not....

Here is the important stuff. I talked to crew forecasting and planning a few days ago. Heres a couple notes.

1. The reason there is only 14 FO's on the vacancy bid is the there will be a displacement bid released after this bid. They will fill the remaining 15-20 70/90 fo slots with CA displacements.

2. The displacement bid will only be for about 40 CA's. The good news is about 30 of these "CA" are previously awarded CA position but they never trained. So this is pretty much only a displacement on paper. Only about 10 actual CA being put back in the right seat.

3. No furloughs in Sept.

4. No furloughs in Oct. do to the training footprint of moving guys from the 50 to the 70 (About a 2 week differences course with sims)

5. Possibility of no furloughs at all "based on the plan they have been given."

Thats pretty much the highlights. I would highly suggest call those guys. both of them have been really helpful any time I have had any questions.

While we are at it, this is what I've heard...

1) No furloughs at all.
2) Very little captain displacements.
3) Possiblity up to 60 aircraft for United, but no word on new bases?
4) Concourse C to be taken down in cvg in 2009

Scenario for you guys. If you have a LC window today, scheduling gives you a trip at 3. Not getting back till late. Can they change your LC window the next day to, lets say an A4... so that you get your rest requirement. Or are they suppose to just adjust the LC times?

Default DH to training

Anyone know if they will allow positive space from home to/from Recurrent, or is it only to/from your domicile?
