You're right, Freedom is growing.

thanks boomer i think you pretty much covered comair and how mesa has "hurt" the industry. i get sick in my stomach when i read posts from mesa, gojet, etc., pilots that want everyone else to feel pity for them. we have been suffering for years because of their selfishness. i could care less about who gets what plane and who has the quicker upgrade....i just want to get paid. due to the ignorant decisions and lack of an eye turned towards the future of some pilots we have arrived where we find ourselves. if anyone else is reading this... please... if you want to work in the airline business i beg you to not chase the first job that is tossed your way but instead fight for one that you can be proud of and one that compensates you for what you do.

If you'll read through your crocodile tears about Mesa and the hurt they've put on your career, you'll find I don't want pity from anyone. I was just curious why you feel compelled to wish me and by co-workers on to the street.

If blaming your misfortune on Mesa helps you sleep good at night, then congrats.

That's why I said "until recently". Anecdotally, however, we are seeing a lot more Freedom planes in CVG at a time that Comair is furloughing two hundred pilots.

That said, I'm not cheering Mesa pilots getting laid off.

It's more like when DrunkenDaddyDelta stops beating you and starts in on your snotty little brother. Too bad for him - but all you really care about is the short break from your own abuse. Make sense?

Makes perfect sense. It's refreshing to see someone who faults Delta for some of this mess.

They tried to "beat us" and we sued. Unfortunately, you guys at Comair don't have that recourse availible.

I'm sorry for what's happening to you guys. Best of luck.

Now I'm wondering about that number (10 ERJs)...

We counted 14 Freedom ERJs, all "NxxxMJ", in JFK last week in the space of about an hour. This was coming and going from gates 23/25. Some were plaintails (just blue or white).
